All my life-size sculptural work is high-fired in a

large car kiln I built at my studio in Hillsborough, NC.

 I  build my sculpture from a stoneware clay body that I mix in my studio.  

Over the course of many years I have created a clay body that is a  combination of clays and minerals that keep expansion and contraction to  a minimum, making a body that meets my goal of creating sculpture that  is durable for outdoors.
